Back Laser Hair Removal

The biggest problem with back hair removal for men is the process of removing it. Shaving presents the obvious problem of reach, it’s nearly impossible to shave your own back, and it can be even more frustrating and embarrassing to find someone to do the job for you. Waxing Back Hair and depilatory creams also offer their own sets of problems. Like shaving, hair removal depilatories can be hard to apply to your own back, and waxing can be extremely painful, especially for men with excessive back hair. Unfortunately, more hair translates to more pain. In recent years, the simplest solution for removing hair from the back and shoulders has become advanced laser treatments.

The Benefits of Laser Back Hair Removal

Today's hair lasers represent an efficient hair reduction method that can be used on just about every part of the body. Common areas include the lips, chin, cheeks, necks, shoulders, underarms, bikini lines, thighs, hands, and even toes. Among men, popular regions include the “unibrow,” the nape of the neck, and, of course, back laser hair removal. The advantage of laser treatments for back hair removal over waxing or depilatories is that lasers represent permanent hair reduction. Laser back hair removal is also less painful than waxing and more efficient than shaving or depilatories.

What is the Cost of Laser Hair Removal for the Back?

Laser back hair removal pricing usually runs a little higher than other parts of the body. Compare prices of the removal of back hair with other areas and you’ll see a noticeable difference. For back treatments you should expect to pay anywhere from $200 to $500 per treatment, whereas smaller treatment areas like facials may only cost $150 per treatment. Different factors can affect both the effectiveness and the cost of back laser hair removal. Things like skin and hair color combinations can play a major role; lasers and dark skin tones in particular have a history of problems. Newer technology is making it possible to remove these follicles, however, it may require more treatments than average. When it comes to back hair removal prices, consumers also need to consider hair density and surface area, both of these factors can raise the cost of a back laser hair treatment, depending on how the clinic prices their sessions.

How many Laser Hair Removal Back Treatments are Required?

The numbers of treatments required for body hair removal depends entirely on the individual patient. Because there are different hair growth cycles, this means that the follicles grows at different intervals. Since, hair grows in 3 cycles; patients typically need, at least, 3 laser treatments to see permanent results. The number of treatments required also depends on the density of the hair and the area of the body. For instance, removing pubic hair may only take as few as 3 treatments to complete, whereas a full back hair removal can take up to 8 treatments to achieve permanent results. During a free consultation with a laser clinic, you’ll get an approximate idea of the number of treatments that will be required and an exact idea of the cost of back hair removal.

Is Laser Treatnment on the Back Painful?

The hair laser process, while efficient, is not pain-free for everyone. In short, medical lasers can and do hurt.Back laser hair removal requires more time than smaller areas and a topical numbing cream is recommended for this area. Compared to waxing, however, laser treatments are considered considerably less painful. Laser hair removal works by targeting melanin (the dark pigment that gives hair its color), and as the melanin absorbs the laser’s light, the heat generated destroys the follicles in that growth cycle. What this amounts to is a sensation comparable to a rubber band snapping against the skin. The process can be uncomfortable without a numbing cream and/or cooling device on the laser, but much more bearable than the follicle being ripped out from the root.

Skin Care

Skin, being the largest organ of the human body, is very important to daily living. It not only covers and protects our insides, but it essentially holds everything together. It can also make sure we maintain the right temperature to survive, and gives us the sense of touch.

The skin is made up of three layers, the epidermis, the dermis and the subcutaneous. The epidermis is on the bodys surface, where new cells form and dead ones fall off. The process of skin cell rejuvenation can take anywhere from two weeks to a month, and the entire layer of the epidermis is in a constant state of flux: newer cells move up through the layers and during that process, the older cells rise to the surface and die.

Old skin cells are strong, and they act by covering your body and protecting it. Every minute of the day we lose 30,000 to 40,000 dead skin cells off the surface of our skin. The process of shedding cells in the epidermis is ongoing, and 95 percent of the cells in that layer are always at work to make new skin cells. The other 5 percent contains a substance called melanin, which gives skin its color.

The darker your skin, the more melanin you have. The cells that contain melanin also provide extra coverage to prevent burning from ultraviolet rays emitted from the sun. Despite having melanin, we still need to be sure and cover up with a sunscreen to protect from skin cancer and sunburn.

The second layer, or dermis, contains nerve endings, blood vessels, oil and sweat glands. It is also where collagen is made, which is important for elasticity and skin durability. The nerve endings in the dermis are responsible for understanding how things feel. The nerve sensors send messages to the brain when things feel too hot or cold, and they transmit messages of pain. The dermis is also filled with blood vessels that keep the skin healthy by supplying it with oxygen and nutrients.

The third and final layer of the skin is called the subcutaneous layer. This layer is mostly fat, and works to provide the body warmth and protection. This is the same layer where our hair follicles originate. These follicles act as roots for each hair as it grows up through the dermis. Hair follicles tend to grow over the entire body, and more than 10,000 follicles are located on the head alone.

Your skin also works to keep your internal temperature from getting too hot or cold. Blood vessels, hair and sweat glands work together to keep the body at an optimal temperature, and to reduce risk of overheating.

Keeping skin in good health is just as important as any other organ or body part. Make sure skin stays clean with water and gentle soap, and clean wounds to keep them from becoming infected. Since we only have one skin, we need to always make sure it is healthy and clean, and see a doctor when abnormal growths appear.

Breastfeeding For Beginners

Breastfeeding is one of the most beautiful and most natural things you, as a women, can do, yet no one really tells you of the struggles ahead. It is a roller coaster ride of emotions and while many are glorious, it really helps to talk about the issues on breastfeeding with other women, so you are prepared and ready for this exciting and challenging time ahead.

As a business owner I have struggled with balancing working and breastfeeding but I am very pleased to have been able to successfully breastfeed all three of my beautiful daughters. However, I also totally appreciate how hard it can be with issues ranging from a lack of milk supply, to incorrect positioning, sore nipples, flat nipples and mastitis to name a few. Yet the benefits of breastfeeding are so important. Not only are you providing your baby the perfect mix of nutrients but you are also sharing the antibodies of your own immune system with your baby, who as yet has none of their own, thus helping them to stay healthy and strong and giving them the best start possible.

With my first child I definitely found it the hardest. We had to go home from hospital on the day my daughter Aria was born, due to the crowded hospital situation, something I was happy about initially as I was so tired and I just wanted peace and quiet. But without that expert help to ensure I was putting my baby on the breast properly, things quickly deteriorated. I didn't really have any idea about whether I was meant to feed from one breast then the other, or was it just from one side per feed, and then swap at the next feed. Every book had a different answer. Then my breasts hurt so much, it got to the stage I would cry if my husband would tell me my baby needed to feed. The pain of her latching on was so horrible, and the after pains were so intense I felt like I was in labour all over again. Day four was the day I wanted to give up, it was ten o'clock at night and I had to send my husband out to get those plastic nipple protectors just to get through the next feed. To be honest, I don't really think they helped me physically, but mentally they did help me get through that night, and the next day it was a little bit better, then the next a little more. It actually took six weeks for it to stop hurting completely, which sounds like an eternity, but time passes quickly.

Choosing the right breastfeeding bra is important too, not only for fit but also for 'feel-good factor!'. Spoiling oneself with sexy new lingerie can really brighten a woman's day and can actually give you more confidence and a more positive outlook; all essential in this complex time in your life. But sexiness aside, a good breastfeeding bra has specific requirements too. Look for a bra that :
  • Fits well and offers support while still allowing room to move
  • Has cotton lining which allows the breast tissue to breathe
  • One without a harsh seam running across the nipple
  • Also strongly recommended is a soft cup bra as an under wire can apply too much pressure to the milk ducts, therefore further increasing the risk of problems arising.

I now have three beautiful daughters and I was fortunate to be able to breastfeed them all. Second and third time around was so much easier. I won't say it was all smooth sailing, but it really was a great deal easier and this gave me the time to really enjoy the experience and the wonderful closeness it creates with you and your child. I actually found it quite hard to stop with my third child as it was just such a wonderful bond.

The main advice I would offer to people is simply to ask for help. Ask the nurse or midwife to come and check out how you are positioning your baby etc. People are there to help, we just need not be afraid to ask. As rewarding it can be, breastfeeding can also be a tough time in your life, but not one you need to go through alone.

Post Pregnancy Tummy

Having a baby is one of the most exciting times in a woman's life. There is nothing sweeter than looking at your newborn baby for the very first time. Usually one of the very next things that women look at is to see how much flatter their tummy is after delivering the baby. It is so depressing when you stand up for the very first time and see the sagging skin on your belly. It just hangs there like a deflated sack. Many women desire to get flatter tummies after pregnancy and to lose pregnancy belly fat. There are a few ways that women can go about losing weight after having a baby.

The first and most important way to lose weight is to breastfeed. It is optimal nutrition for your baby that no formula can ever duplicate. Breastfeeding also makes your uterus contract which makes you stop bleeding and the uterus to shrink back to its normal pre-pregnancy size. It will eventually descend back to the lower pelvis once it has gone back to its original size. Breastfeeding also helps you burn more calories. You will only need to eat about 300 extra calories a day when breastfeeding. Make sure you watch your calories and don't make the mistake that some women make by thinking that they can eat whatever they like because they are nursing. If you want to lose pregnancy belly fat, breastfeeding is an easy and natural way to lose weight after pregnancy.
Another way to lose unwanted pregnancy belly fat is to exercise. Exercise helps you to lose weight, shape up your body, and it also helps to decrease postpartum depression. You should weight at least six weeks after a vaginal birth and eight weeks after a C-Section to begin exercising. Once your doctor has given you the OK to exercise, start out slow. You can begin by stretching, walking, doing Yoga, or other low impact exercises.

Lastly, give it time! It took you nine months to gain your pregnancy weight, so don't expect to lose all your pregnancy belly fat in one month. Just remember to eat sensibly, exercise, breastfeed if you are able, and the weight should gradually fall off over the next few months.

ACNE SCARS TREATMENT

Acne is a condition that can effect all ages The scars resulting from acne can cause disfigurements

Acne is a condition that can effect all ages. The scars resulting from acne can cause disfigurements. People with scars can feel insecure and less attractive. Fortunately, there are a number of scar removal methods available for people with permanent acne scars.

Derma-Peeling: This scar removal method involves removing the top layer of the skin. The treatment works by using an acid that strips the layers of the epidermis. Chemicals like Alpha Hydroxy Acid and Beta Hydroxy Acid are used in the treatment. The result is cleaner and smoother skin. It works well for mild scarring. Deeper acne will usually require a stronger acid product. Treatment is performed by a surgeon.

Skin Grafts: Also known as punch grafting, this treatment is used to remove ice pick scars. An instrument used for a biopsy is used to puncture and remove deep scars. The scar is anesthetized in order to reduce pain. A graft is taken from behind the ear and placed in the punch wound to fill in the puncture marls. The skin graft is held in place with skin glue or butterfly strips. This procedure makes the scar less visible. Collagen injections can be used to stretch the skin.

Microlipoinjection: This procedure uses fat from a donor section on the patient?s body. The injection causes the area to swell up. This method helps reduce acne scars. . Liposuction or a syringe is used to take fat cells from the patients own body. Dermal fillers will be absorbed by the body so these types of treatments do not last a lifetime. Fat transfer lasts longer that other fillers. The procedure is performed by a surgeon. .

Microdermabrasion: Microdermabrasion treatments remove bacteria, debris, and dead skin cells from the surface layers of the skin. A ''microderm machine'' produces a pressurized stream of crystals on the surface of the skin. . The results after healing are smoother and softer skin with less visible scarring. Dermabrasion can be expensive. Qualified doctors will perform the procedure.

Laser Treatments: This procedure involves burning away scar tissue. A wand-like laser hand-piece is used to burn off the scarred skin cells. This results in collagen and skin cell regeneration which creates smoother skin. Skin surgeons can use two acne scar removal lasers. An Erbium (Er) or erbium YAG laser penetrates the skin and the moisture in the skin absorbs it. The heat produced by the laser spread outs allowing normal skin to remain untouched. The carbon dioxide (CO2) laser sends out short bursts of high-energy which vaporize the scarred skin tissue one layer at a time. The result is smooth and rejuvenated skin. Patients have to meet certain requirements to receive this type of procedure. The benefit is that there is a low risk of future scarring. Medical complications after laser surgery on acne scars are rare. This is an expensive treatment that is performed by a surgeon. The procedure is very accurate which allows the surgeon to target only the affected skin tissue
Subcision Treatment: This procedure involves using a needle that contains a lancing point. The point is placed under the skin and a doctor will cut the fibers that join the skin surface to the fat located under the skin. It is an effective method but can be expensive.

Acne scarring is a very common skin condition. Scarring can affect many areas of the skin such as the face, back, and neck. The result will often make people insecure about their appearance and body. Acne scar removal treatment can reduce or eliminate scarring. It is important to consult with a specialist before undergoing a treatment to determine the best procedure.

Natural Acne Remedy

Most folk who suffer from disease of the skin go out and spend nice money on common over-the-counter disease of the skin treatment products. The truth is, most of these products are full of chemicals that can actually slow down the healing of acne, and irritate your skin, deed farther breakouts.

When an disease of the skin product has 20 ingredients listed on it, it can be hard to cognize if one of those ingredients is actually stopping you from having success. It can be even as harder once you can't pronounce the ingredient, more less cognize what it is and how it is going to affect your skin. Most thought disease of the skin treatments are not only more much costly than common home items, but they as well don't always activity as well either. With that in mind, I wish list several basic home items that can activity wonders on clearing up your skin.

Baking soda ? A really cheap cook ingredient that most folk have in their homes already, baking soda can be used as a great scrub. The intention of a scrub is to exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin that can eventually clog pores and lead to disease of the skin spots. To start off, you'll want to mix a small figure of baking soda with several water for form a paste. Baking soda is really effective as a scrub, so you want to be sure to be extra careful once applying it to your face. Gently massage the paste into your skin for ten to fifteen seconds. Then rinse the baking soda off, and pat your face dry with a clean towel.

Apple Beverage Vinegar ? Tho' most folk that use vinegar to treat disease of the skin use the apple beverage form of vinegar, you can as well use plain old regular vinegar. Regardless of which type you use, vinegar can be really helpful with it comes to clearing up acne. It can kill off disease of the skin deed bacteria, balance your skin's pH, and absorb extra oil on your skin.

Starting with clean, dry skin, apply diluted vinegar (eight parts water to one part vinegar) directly to your skin with a cotton ball, and leave it on. If you want, you can as well use a stronger vinegar resolution (say, 2 or 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar), and apply it directly to problem areas, remotion it off after ten minutes.

Lemon or lime juice can as well be substituted for vinegar. Some of these juices are rich in acid acid, and can exfoliate your skin really well, halting the growth of disease of the skin spots, as well as weakening previous, non-active disease of the skin quicker.

Egg Whites ? Rich in protein, egg whites can be used as a mask to heal and build your skin. It can as well help to absorb excess oil from your skin. To start off, crack an egg, removing the food so that simply the egg whites are left behind. Beat these egg whites, and apply them directly to your face. Let it sit for fifteen minutes, and then rinse the egg off.

Oatmeal ? As odd as it may seem, oatmeal can absorb unwanted oil and draw out impurities which reside deep in your skin. Cook several plain oatmeal like you would-be for consumption. Let it cool off, and rub it over your clean skin. Let it sit for a while, like you would-be a mask, and then rinse off. If you do this on a regular basis, you should begin to start noticing results soon.

Tea Tree Oil ? TTO is a ordinarily used all-natural home antiseptic, which you can pick up at most drugstores or supermarkets. You can apply TTO directly to disease of the skin spots to kill bacteria, or, if you powerfully dilute it with another oil (such as jojoba oil), over your entire face. Tea tree gel can be easier to apply than the oil, and many a are ready-made for applying over large areas of skin, so they aren't quite as strong as straight TTO and do not need to be diluted.

Pantothenic Acid (Also best-known as Vit. B5) ? Pantothenic acid can be taken in large quantities for the benefit of disease of the skin reduction. B5 works by serving your body to metabolise fats which would-be otherwise be later turned into secretion (oil) and excreted through the skin. Small amounts of B5 won't help though, and it has to be taken several times a day.

To help with acne, you wish need to take 2.5 grams of pantothenic acid (the powder form is more easier to take), 4 times per day, for a total of 10 grams per day.

Aloe Vera ? Succulent Vera has been used for many a years in kitchens for topical application to burns. Another benefit of succulent is that it can prevent scaring, fade marks and help heal disease of the skin spots.

You now have an idea of several basic home items you can use on your skin, that activity better than many a OTC disease of the skin products, and are more cheaper to use. Since we have only actually covered basic disease of the skin treatments, you can always take this to another level and take all natural, internal disease of the skin treatments.

This sums up our basic list of natural alternatives for chemical based disease of the skin treatment products. You can take this a step farther by offensive your disease of the skin from the inside out. Disease of the skin has been shown many times to be really closely affected by the biological process system, so keeping your entire biological process system working as smooth as possible can help reduce acne. I wish help give you a basic idea of several all natural products you can take to help clean up acne.

Cucumber, lemon and carrot juice, brewer's yeast, and active charcoal pills are all capable of serving the biological process system function normally. Since the biological process system is closely related with the health of the skin, they should help reduce disease of the skin breakouts. Flax seed can as well be extraordinary for serving your skin heal faster.

2. Make sure you stretch every day starting from day 1 after pregnancy
3. Ensure you feed your baby or the pump before your workout and buy a well fitter bra
4. Don't over work your body - If you're feeling exhausted take some rest
5. One of the best exercises for new mothers is walking! Aim for a couple of hours each day
6. Research has shown that Yoga is a very effective post pregnancy exercise. So book yourself in to the local gym and head for a yoga session
7. Also, aim to swim regularly - since swimming is a great cardio-vascular workout and will reduce body fat and help you tone up

Make sure you stay motivated and dedicated to your post pregnancy exercises. If you're not motivated then you're wasting your time. Procrastination is your worst enemy!

Weight Loss Solutions That Work

If you're fat and looking for weight loss solutions that work, you need to take a fresh look at the situation and try a common-sense approach to guide
you to victory! There are so many diets promising success. Indeed, if you follow any one of them to the letter, you'll achieve short-term success.
Attaining the long term objective of a real weight loss solution requires you accurately assess your 'triggers' and make some fundamental changes
before embarking on your weight loss solution of choice. Salt, sugar and food additives contribute much to the overweight condition. If you drink a lot
of soda and often partake in junk food snacks, you've nailed a large portion of your weight problem. Let's face it, these 'foods' cannot be called
nutritious. A weight loss solution that really works must include a radical downsizing of consumption of these products. Yes, they're convenient, tasty -
and fattening! You need to at least cut down on these diet busters. A weight loss solution that really works includes a change in your perspective.
People wanting to lose weight think they must suffer terribly and deny themselves everything. Absolutely not true! Reorient yourself, and pleasantly
discover there are so many foods that are delicious, satisfying, even decadent, yet nutritious, low in calories and slimming. This indeed is possible.
The cola addict can slip in a few juices which supply natural sugar and vitamin C. Eliminating mood altering sugars and boosting your immune system
response is a very positive step towards a weight loss solution that works. Mediterranean cuisine is often lauded for its healthful properties. Did you
know you can use French, Spanish and Italian dishes in a weight loss solution program? Olive oil is a staple in these cuisines, but contain no
cholesterol or trans-fats. Another basic part of Mediterranean cuisine is fish. 'Oily' fishes, such as salmon and cod, contain huge amounts of Omega-3
fatty acids, which are cancer fighting antioxidants. Use your common sense approach. A little fancy sauce on that fish won't hurt your weight loss
solution program. Substitute herbs for salt. Heavily salted foods cause you to retain water. Yet salt brings out the taste! Herbs accentuate the flavor
of food as well as salt. Begin eating salads! A salad can be an entire meal, a weight loss solution in a single dish. One salad can fill you up. To a bowl
of freshly cleaned lettuce, add onions, tomatoes, basil, sliced olives, shredded cheese and chunks of chicken or ham. Indulge yourself with the
dressing of your choice. Combine lean meat or seafood with pasta, vegetables and herbs for a satisfying dish, without excess calories or guilt. Herbs
and vegetables worthy of inclusion in your weight loss solution include apples, celery, fennel, figs and watercress. Losing weight has been, and will
always be a multi-step process. This remains true because there is no one, single factor that you can lean on to lose weight. Body fat and weight
management depend upon a whole host of personalized factors, including heredity, hormonal disposition, character, social responsibility, and stress.
Don't forget the obvious ones, like food intake and energy expenditure. Your weight loss solution must consider energy in vs energy out. With the
launch of the South Beach Diet, many people have become accustomed to the high protein diet. It did work for them as this diet not only helps in
weight loss, it can also contribute to losing excess fats in the body. One weight loss solution for you may be to use the South Beach Diet. Those who
are on a low carb diet such as the Atkins Diet or South Beach Diet, your exercise has a distinct advantage over the low-fat dieters. Low carb dieters
have a limited amount of glycogen available so the body utilizes the fat on the belly, hips and other unwanted places as the primary sources of energy
during exercise. Alter your current diet, enjoying the food you eat while implementing a painless and successful weight loss solution.

Treatment for Stretch Mark

There are some very effective oils and home remedies for stretch marks that both minimize their effect and their appearance over time.

You can make them virtually invisible and very hard to see to the naked eye and there is a lot that you can do, especially in the comfort and privacy of your own home, to limit the impact that they will have on your life with natural solutions and a home remedy for stretch marks.

Stretch marks occur anywhere and everywhere on the body. They are the result of what we will call expansion and contraction, as a result of demands made on it to adapt, adjust and stretch over our lifetime.

They most commonly occur as a result of cells, membranes and walls getting pulled, stretched beyond capacity and demand, until eventually they give and break. Both men and women get them. Stretch marks affect people of all ages and people of both sexes. Girls and women, men and young adults, even athletes and body builders can get them as a side-effect to bulking up too quickly. Many online sources quote the statistics of occurrence as high as 70% of teenage girls and as high as 90%+ of all pregnant women.

They are a skin phenomenon and, as a result, by eating right, you can help preserve and restore that healthy appearance of a system in optimal health and the peak of functioning.

To illustrate this point further: Vitamin E, for example, is a great warrior in the on-going fight against stretch marks. It does not only have to be a main ingredient in topical treatments and lotions, but also on the menu and in the dishes we consume on a regular basis. It's important to include many sources of Vitamin E in your diet and to pay attention to eating plenty of fresh produce, fruits and vegetables, healthy oils, low-fat foods. Vitamins that are great contributors to the appearance and qualities of your skin are C, E, A and zinc.

Your genes determine what your skin conditioning will be like throughout your life. Tone and smoothness are coded for the most part into your DNA, your genetic markers. There is, however, a lot you can do with what nature has bestowed upon you to improve the condition of your skin and your stretch marks with some very effective home remedies.

Do any, some or all of the following on a regular (preferably habitual routine!): Applying a moisturizer or vitamin E to the skin once or twice a day can make all the difference in the world; ensure you have a sufficient intake of vitamins daily; ensure your skin is not dry and chapped, stretched or overworked; take care to prevent them from happening in the first place; work for elasticity and moisture inside and out.

There are many natural ways and household products that you can use to create your own topical treatments; things that you lather on, massage and apply to your skin to moisturize and nourish it.

Herbal, natural and organic products and alternative treatments are all the rave in the market right now. Some sufferers resort to invasive and costly; others take matters into their own hands mixing home remedies; some pick topical treatments that are meant to make all the difference. Some opt for surgery and skin peels - all in the hope of getting rid of stretch marks!

Gels can minimize scarring and stimulate skin to grow, repair and replenish moisture, tone and conditioning. Vitamin C and E are good ingredients to have in any gel-type, cooling topical treatment.

There are many different ways to deal with stretch marks and often it is the method that is the most light on the pocketbook that gets the most attention. The hunt and search for effective treatments continue. There are some very effective oils and home remedies for stretch marks that both minimize their effect and their appearance over time. Home-made scrubs and exfoliators are also highly effective too.

Wrinkle Treatment

It is natural to see wrinkles on the face when you grow old. This is the effect of ageing. Premature ageing and wrinkles can be checked if care is taken when you are young. A lot of people rely on home remedies when it comes to diminishing them. Here are some tips and home remedies to get you started on the path to minimize these wrinkles and make your skin look young and healthy again.

Stay out of the sun
The first place to start is to stay out of the sun. Sun tanning damages and ages your skin faster than anything, and it also has been leading to cancer more and more since the ozone is wearing away from pollution.

Eat healthy
Secondly, incorporate healthy doses of natural antioxidant foods like leafy green vegetables and brightly colored fruit for maximum free radical elimination. Free radicals are the number one cause of collagen breakdown, which is a direct cause of wrinkles.

Smokers beware
Smoking robs the complexion of oxygen, decreasing blood circulation to facial skin and resulting in premature lines and wrinkles. Also, anyone puffing on a cigarette is essentially doing a lot of repetitive facial movements that add even more wrinkles. So kick the habit if you want those wrinkles to disappear.

Sleep on your back
When you sleep on your side or belly with your face on the pillow, wrinkles are formed. People who sleep in this posture usually get a diagonal crease on their forehead running above their eyebrows. Sleeping on your back eliminates this problem.

Facial massage
Massage increases the blood circulation and results in the tightening of muscles and tissue. This reduces the fleshiness of the skin and restores a young look. You can apply coconut oil on the portions of your skin and face where wrinkles set in and gently massage every night at bedtime.

Go bananas
Try banana as an anti-wrinkle treatment. Mash a fourth of a banana until it becomes very creamy. Spread all over your face and leave on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing off with warm water followed by a dash of cold water. Gently pat dry.

Get a humidifier
Air conditioning and heating systems are known to dry out the skin, making the aging process occur more rapidly. Try using a humidifier. This inexpensive bit of equipment will help to keep air moist and therefore keep your skin moist too.

Vitamin E
Prick three capsules of vitamin E and drain into a small bowl. Add two teaspoons plain yogurt, half a teaspoon of honey and half a teaspoon of lemon juice. Apply this mixture to your face with cotton ball. Leave on your skin for about ten minutes and rinse off.

How To Get Rid Of Stretch Marks Naturally

There are numerous methods and solutions to get rid of stretch marks naturally. Medical breakthroughs and even laser-type surgery and treatments
leave consumers with lots of choices and options (some easier to live with, with less side effects, risk and cheaper than others!). Some procedures
are more time-consuming and costly and their impact and consequences you might not always have bargained on, budgeted for or counted among
possibilities or risks. This is highly unfortunate. Skin coloration and/or permanent scars are just some of these examples. Peel-type treatments can be
painful and have to be taken repeatedly and are outside of most household or personal budgets to be realistic and viable. Plastic and cosmetic
surgery, invasive procedures, are still an upscale option for those who can scrape together the dollars to get the job done. The results however will
vary and there are no guarantees. As things stand today, there is no ONE sure-fire way for totally preventing, correcting or getting rid of stretch marks.
All of the above leaves one feeling as if nothing can claim to work affordably, cheaply and effectively! Well, almost nothing! We continue in
desperation and hope against all hopes and odds that there is a cure or method to cope successfully with stretch marks, making them less visible to
the naked eye and us more comfortable and accepting of them. If you want and crave lasting results, naturally, for your stretch marks, there are many
home remedies, approaches and techniques to recommend. There are completely natural ways to treat, minimize and deal effectively with them.
You do not have to resort to drastic, extreme or expensive measures necessarily to get things done. There are lots that you can DO to find ways to
make the body's natural process, dynamics, features and qualities work for you, on your behalf and to your advantage, as opposed to against you!
Take restorative control of your body and its processes and the skin will follow your guidance and directions! This is the philosophy and practice of
naturally dealing effectively with stretch marks. Here are just some of the most common responses and action plans people implement to
deal/cope/address stretch marks: Embarrassment, hiding and concealing, covering, denying, ignoring, wishing away, slapping on topical treatments,
invasive, costly, repetitious treatments and interventions to get rid of them! Stretch marks develop anywhere and they really spare no one! They are,
however, not a medical condition that has to be treated of cured. They are typically not painful and most of us take little notice of them until they are
undeniably visible and there for all to see! They also vary in their appearance from a slight pinkish red, pale skin-coloration, purple, to silvery white.
These are reflective of the different stages of stretch mark development. You can find them literally everywhere and anywhere on your body. Even
the facial areas, neck, head and shoulders, under and upper arms, lower torso and more. Topical treatments and lotions are the most common ways
of treating and dealing with stretch marks (if we remember to lather them on that is!). There are lots of products, personal steps and treatments that
you can utilize (including natural methods) for coping well with minimizing the appearance of stretch marks! For most of us, stretch marks are also a
highly personal and intimate matter. We do not like being seen with them. They affect your self-image, focusing on your imperfections and
shortcomings. Eating right, healthier and making wise choices for diet and nutrition gets increasing focus as we focus not only on well-being, but also
on the condition of our skin. This is one of the front-line defenses we have to optimize our own body's built-in qualities to cope with these challenges,
obstacles and opportunities. Stretch marks are a skin phenomenon and as your shell and protective layer, it will have some battle scars. By eating
right, you can help preserve and restore that healthy appearance of a system in optimal health and the peak of functioning. To illustrate this point
further: Vitamin E, for example, is a great warrior in the on-going fight against stretch marks. It does not only have to be a main ingredient in topical
treatments and lotions, but also on the menu and in the dishes we consume on a regular basis. Pack a power-punch by including many sources of
Vitamin E from foods. Get essential nutrition down to a fine art. Pay attention to eating plenty of fresh produce, fruits and vegetables, healthy oils,
low-fat foods. Vitamins that are great contributors to the appearance and qualities of your skin are C, E, A and zinc. Keeping your body in ship-shape
and toned condition is a great way to make the most of what the body has to offer, also for your skin! Ensure that you include enough portions of
protein, carbohydrates, and fats in your diet to feel and look your best. Vitamins and supplements might also help you not only balance your nutrition
but also affect the appearance and outer features of your skin, including stretch marks! These are the building blocks of cells and dynamics of organs
and systems, including the skin. If you include Vitamin A in your daily diet, you will do a lot for maintaining healthy bones, nails, and hair. It plays a
substantial role in wound healing, scabs formation, feeding dry skin-cells. Your genes determine what your skin conditioning will be like. Tone and
smoothness are coded for the most part into your DNA, your genetic markers. There is, however, a lot you can do with what nature has bestowed
upon you. You can improve the condition of your skin and your stretch marks. Do any, some or all of the following on a regular (preferably habitual
routine!): Applying a moisturizer or vitamin E to the skin once or twice a day can make all the difference in the world; ensure a sufficient intake of
vitamins; ensure your skin is not dry and chapped, stretched or overworked; prevent stretch marks from happening in the first place; work for elasticity
and moisture inside and out. There are many natural ways and household products that you can use to create your own topical treatments; things that
you lather on, massage and apply to your skin to moisturize and nourish it. Invasive procedures and intervention therapies carry risk, are expensive
and not necessarily suited for everyone. Yet, there are numerous household, tried, true and tested combinations and mixtures or concoctions that
work wonders with reducing stretch marks!

Microdermabrasion Stretch Mark Reduction

Microdermabrasion has revolutionised they in which stretch marks are managed. This procedure has been shown to decrease the appearance of those unwanted marks. Ladies and gentlemen, please continue reading to understand how this can be achieved.

The formation of stretch marks:

At present, there is a common misnomer that they also known as striae distensae) arise due to the overstretching of skin which is associated with pregnancy and growth spurts. However, this is untrue and the scientific reason behind the formation of these is based upon the high blood circulating levels of glucocorticoids (hormones) which are secreted by the adrenal glands. The adrenal glands are situated bilaterally and are found on top of the upper pole of the kidney.

Glucocorticoids tend to be released in excess during pregnancy, obesity, weight lifting and Cushing's disease. Striae distensae can also arise due to the chronic oral intake of steroids (such as prednisolone) which propel the formation of these unwanted marks on the skin. Topical steroid creams have also been proven to initiate the formation of these marks and in some cases, frequent use should be avoided.

Fibroblasts are cells that are involved in laying down collagen (connective tissue) in skin tissue so that the skin remains strong and possess an adequate degree of elasticity. During the normal skin cycle, fibroblasts lay down collagen to replace what is lost from the skin; this is called physiological skin remodelling. This process also occurs when skin is injured; fibroblasts lay down collagen to bridge the gap between cracked skin, eventually allowing the collagen to amalgamate with normal skin, hence forming a continuum.

Unfortunately, when circulating blood levels of glucocorticoids are high, the fibroblasts are inhibited thus inhibiting the normal remodelling of skin. Ultimately, this leads to the decreased thickness of skin with abnormal or lack of collagen deposits in the skin resulting in the formation of stretch marks.

The use of Microdermabrasion for scar reduction:

Microdermabrasion has been shown to be effective in reducing the appearance of skin marks; especially for those stubborn old white marks that do not seem to disappear with different cream formulations and various other treatment modalities.

Many microscopic studies have supported the fact that Microdermabrasion can help in reducing the appearance of stretch marks. The procedure can be performed in many beautician as well as plastic surgery clinics. Results are usually seen after 6 sessions of Microdermabrasion applied to the area where the marks are present. Many studies have also shown that with the use of high concentration Vitamin E & A creams, coupled with Microdermabrasion, cosmetic results are very impressive!

If you have stretch marks which you have been trying to get rid of for months or even years, look no further , for Microdermabrasion may be the answer to making those annoying marks memories of the past!

Weight loss system

One of the easiest ways to reduce weight is to have a healthy, balanced and controlled diet. There should not be any overeating. All the nutrients should be taken in an equal amount, it should not be like that we are consuming more of fats and carbohydrates; this leads to imbalance of diet, hence causing obesity. This is one of the easiest methods, and it does not mean that we start consuming less food or something; it simply means that what all we are eating should be burnt as fast as possible or it should be consumed by the various body exercises. In simple words we can say that it should be accompanied by some form of physical exercise.

In the older period, all the work done was by man, as there were no machines in that period, hence there was no need of any extra physical exercise to be done, because all the food consumed was used by the body. But in today’s period, when all the work is done by the machine and people just rely on their personal computer for work, there is no scope of any physical exercise. Hence in those cases to keep the body in good shape and so as not to gain extra tons of weight, we have to use other options. Let us discuss them below.

There are many ways to cut down the extra tonnes of weight and lose weight like going to gymnasiums, running, jogging, and walking everyday. These exercises help in burning the extra number of calories, hence reducing weight. There are many people who have started taking diet pills as an alternative, but this should be avoided. As these pills have a lot number of side effects than the actual effect for which they are consumed. Hence one should exercise daily to lose weight, keep fit and to be in good shape. Also, be confidentFeature Articles, consistent and focussed to lose weight.

Will IVF work for my Baby Gender selection?

There are times when you may want to choose the sex of your baby. You may want to do this for medical or personal (elective) reasons. The method of choice is yours and there are several options you can pursue when deciding whether to look at baby gender selection. Keep in mind that each option has its own effectiveness, prices vary, and not all methods are readily available. When you are considering adding a child to your family and you have medical or personal reasons for wanting the child to be male or female, then you have some options that make your chances greater of having your child of choice. Of course, there are no guarantees for you when conceiving a child and most people are happy knowing that their baby is alive and healthy. The choice is ultimately left up to each individual couple.

One method to look at when making your decision on baby gender selection is In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Medical professionals have the ability to create and identify embryos of a specific sex and then implant them. This procedure was founded in 1978 and has become more common and successful since then. The percentage of becoming pregnant through IVF is now quite high and results in a viable pregnancy in 1 out of 5 implantations. Age and reproduction health of both the male and female partner are part of the overall physical evaluation when a physician is consulted for infertility reasons.

In Vitro Fertilization is no longer the extensive surgical procedure it used to be. It usually can be performed in a physician’s office and requires no general anesthesia. The physician combines ultrasound imaging with a sonographically-guided needle to recover the oocytes (female eggs.) To prepare for In Vitro Fertilization, the woman must undergo approximately two weeks of hormonal therapy using fertility drugs so that the physician can retrieve the eggs at the most optimal time (immediately before ovulation.) The procedure itself requires only local anesthesia and the patient will only have mild discomfort such as experienced during an annual pap smear. Almost always, the patient will be able to go home that same day and resume her usual daily activities.

HOW TO HAVE A BABY BOY

Trying to choose the sex of your baby, boy or girl, is a very old practice. Old customs were centered around the woman, because it was not understood that the determination really lay with the man. Though as wisdom grew, the practices changed to include men in the process of deciding, but the methods were still really out there, like tying up one testicle, believing that boys had one side, girls the other; sleeping with certain objects under the bed to influence the sex of the baby; or even medicines and poultices of odd combination including animal feces. The desire to choose the sex was that strong.

Today's desire is just as strong. In fact some places report that up to 90% of people would choose the sex of their baby if it were easier. The biggest change in the minds of sex selection is that girls are a high priority in some locations now, previously there was a high need for a boy. In fact, in some countries they still have very high preferences for boys. There are even places that have banned ultrasound determination of the sex of a baby to prevent sex selection via termination.

How Sex Selection Works

Each parent contributes half of a baby's genetic make up. The female or mother is genetically an XX, so she is only able to contribute an X to the future baby. The father of the baby is XY and can contribute either an X or a Y. This means that sperm is the deciding factor in how your baby's sex is determined.

Over 200 million sperm are ejaculated into the vagina during intercourse, a mixture of X and Y. Most likely only one will be the one to penetrate the ovum.

Shettles Method

Dr. Landrum Shettles is known for his popular book on how to use low tech ways to conceive a baby of a particular sex, but particularly baby girls. Though the method can be used for a girl or a boy. The theory behind this method for having a baby boy is that Y bearing sperm are faster but die more quickly. This means that by the time the egg is released you should have no sperm near the egg and quickly have intercourse to have the biggest concentration of Y bearing sperm. The basics are as follows:

  • First you must know your menstrual cycle and chart it using your basal body temperature (BBT) charts.
  • Once you have done this for a few months you can more accurately pinpoint ovulation.
  • Men should avoid ejaculation for 4-5 days before ovulation.
  • Your goal would be to time sexual intercourse about 12 hours prior to ovulation, based on your basal body temperatures, or other methods.
  • Use positions to place the sperm as close to the cervix as possible, including rear entry positions.
  • Females should have an orgasm to help move the sperm towards the egg.

Previously Shettles recommended certain douches to deal with the acidity issue, but has since backed off that because of the risk of infection.

The Boy Diet

There are some who say that what you eat will determine whether your baby is a girl or a boy. Here are some foods to stock in your pantry if you're trying to have a baby boy:

  • Meat, particularly red meat
  • Salty snacks, like chips
  • Caffeine

OVULATION PRIMER

Q. When do I ovulate?

A. This is where it gets tricky, let's talk in terms of generalities for a moment. We generally say that the average menstrual cycle is 28 days long. This means that a woman starts her period on day one of her cycle. The average woman will ovulate 14 days backwards from the start of her period. So a woman with a 28 day cycle would tend to ovulate on day 14. The woman with a 32 day cycle would tend to ovulate on day 18. The woman with a 26 day cycle would ovulate on day 12 of the cycle. This can vary widely, which is why methods to determine exactly when you ovulate are important. You need to maximize the chance of your fertile window being successful, the window being the 24 hours the egg lives.

Q. How do you know exactly when you ovulate?

A. There are a few methods available: Basal Body Temperature (BBT), Mucous, Sympto-Thermal (Combination), and Device.

Q. Which method is best?

A. There really isn't a great answer to that. The use of your body to help predict ovulation can greatly enhance any woman's ability to get pregnant. By using the simple signs like temperature and mucous changes to do this, it's simple, efficient, and cost-effective. Using the ovulation prediction kits can be very expensive and not as accurate for some women. However, I think it's important to note that prior to receiving any counseling for infertility a practitioner will usually require at least a month or two worth of temperatures and symptoms. So if you're just starting out in the game of achieving a pregnancy, or you're starting to wonder if you can get pregnant, this might be a good place to start for you.

Q. When is the best time to get pregnant?

A. While the egg is only viable for about 24 hours, sperm can live in the reproductive tract of the woman for 72+ hours. This means that you can get pregnant in a much larger window than thought. Intercourse prior to ovulation can and often does result in pregnancy, as can intercourse at the point of ovulation.

Q. Can more than one egg ever be released?

A. Yes. More than one can be released. When this happens it is common for both eggs to be fertilized, thus resulting in fraternal twins. Many common medications for ovulatory disorders can cause the ovaries to be hyperstimulated, and therefore release more eggs than normal. This is, obviously, not always the case

HOW TO HAVE A BABY GIRL

Trying to choose the sex of your baby, girl or boy, is a very old practice. Old customs were centered around the woman, because it was not understood that the determination of the sex of a baby really lay with the man. Though as wisdom grew, the practices changed to include men in the process of deciding, but the methods were still really out there, like tying up one testicles, believing that boys had one side, girls the other; sleeping with certain objects under the bed to influence the sex of the baby; or even medicines and poultices of odd combination including animal feces. The desire to choose the sex was that strong.

Today's desire is just as strong. In fact some places report that up to 90% of people would choose the sex of their baby if it were easier. The biggest change in the minds of sex selection is that girls are a high priority in some locations now.

How Sex Selection Works

The father of the baby is XY and can contribute either an X or a Y. This means that sperm is the deciding factor in how your baby's sex is determined.

Over 200 million sperm are ejaculated into the vagina during intercourse, a mixture of X and Y. Most likely only one will be the one to penetrate the ovum.

Shettles Method

Dr. Landrum Shettles is known for his popular book on how to use low tech ways to conceive a baby of a particular sex, but particularly baby girls. This was true for girl or boy. The theory behind this girl getting Shettles method is that Y bearing sperm are faster but die more quickly. Therefore the goal is to stack the deck and have more X bearing sperm near the ovum at the time of conception. Following the "rules" of Shettles would mean that by the time the egg is released you have mostly the X bearing sperm left to impregnate the ovum. The basics are as follows:

  • First you must know your menstrual cycle and chart it using your basal body temperature (BBT) charts.
  • Once you have done this for a few months you can more accurately pinpoint ovulation.
  • You will begin to have unprotected intercourse after your period ends.
  • You should have sex once a day.
  • Stop having marital relations about three days before you expect ovulation.
  • For added optimism for a girl, you will want to choose sexual positions that place the sperm close to the entrance to the vagina, making the sperm have to swim further. An example would be the missionary position. (Note: If you're having trouble conceiving at all, this is not recommended.)
  • Women should avoid orgasm during sex during conception attempts, this is to prevent the vaginal environment from being more alkaline, which supposedly is not favorable to baby girls.

Previously Shettles recommended certain douches to deal with the alkalinity issue, but has since backed off that because of the risk of infection.

The Girl Diet

There are some who say that what you eat will determine whether your baby is a girl or a boy. Here are some foods to stock in your pantry if you're trying to have a baby girl:

  • Chocolate
  • Fresh vegetables
  • Fish

Do you have boys and desperately want a beautiful little baby girl to complete your family? Or do you have your heart set on having a baby boy for your husband to play ball with? No matter what your reason for wanting to choose to specifically to have a baby boy or a baby girl, you can raise your odds of selecting your next baby's gender from 50/50 to over 94%! These methods have solid scientific backing, and won't cost you an arm and a leg like those fertility clinics can. It will take a little diligence on your part, following the steps precisely is important to ensure success. Just what are these steps you must follow? these three simple all-natural steps:

  1. Timing of Conception-Time conception to occur on the day you ovulate-to have a boy baby, as the "boy" sperm is weaker and short lived, but faster swimmers then the "girl" sperm. So by waiting until you ovulate you will give the speedy "boy" sperm the best chance to fertilize the waiting egg, resulting in a baby boy. Or have sex to conceive a few days before ovulation if you want a little baby girl, as this will nearly ensure the weaker "boy" sperm will die off before the egg even becomes available for fertilization. While the longer lived "girl" sperm will still be alive and waiting to fertilize the new egg, resulting in a baby girl.
  2. Position During Intercourse-Have sex in positions that favor deeper penetration-if you want a baby boy. Again deeper penetration will deposit the fast swimming "boy" sperm as close to the waiting egg as possible to help ensure they are successful in fertilizing the egg, resulting in a baby boy. Shallow penetration favors conceiving a baby girl, because the hardier, longer living "girl" sperm will survive the long trip down the vaginal tract to fertilize the egg, and the fragile "boy' sperm won't make it.
  3. Control Your Vaginal ph-By altering your ph levels-if need be-you can create an environment that will favor conceiving a boy baby or a girl baby. Generally the weaker "boy" sperm is unable to survive very long in a low ph (acidic) environment while the stronger "girl" sperm is not compromised.

Caloric intake also seems to effect the baby's gender at conception. Eating a good breakfast and generally consuming more daily calories (about 2000) favors conceiving a baby boy while cutting back on your caloric intake will favor a girl baby. These techniques have worked for thousands of couples, giving then the ability to choose the gender of their baby, you too can choose, and have the little baby girl or boy you want and need to bring balance to your family!
